Creative Director
Kimberly Wilson is a visionary with a bold and clear idea of what the future could be—and she actively works to bring that vision to life through innovation, advocacy, and social change. Her professional and personal connection to mental health and substance use disorder has shaped how she leads and shows up in the world: grounded in humility, unafraid to challenge norms, focused on transformation, and guided by the belief that every great leader must be willing to think beyond their own lived experience to create inclusive, lasting impact.
With 18 years of experience spanning government, the nonprofit sector, and managed care, Kimberly is the founder of The Left Brain Solution (TLBS), a behavioral health consulting agency dedicated to transforming the healthcare landscape by bridging service gaps that disproportionately impact vulnerable populations. Through a distinctive dual-service model, TLBS guides behavioral health organizations in both building solid operational foundations and elevating their public presence.
Left Hemisphere Services focus on infrastructure: licensing, compliance, leadership, and systems that ensure sustainability. Right Hemisphere Services amplify visibility: branding, community engagement, and cultural storytelling that foster authentic relationships with stakeholders. Together, these services empower agencies to transform systems that have historically excluded the very communities they aim to serve.
As a consultant and educator, Kimberly blends strategic vision with creative content development that challenges outdated ideologies, encourages unlearning, and promotes equity. She designs curriculum that is both practical and provocative—rooted in real-world application and cultural relevance. Her course on generational trauma helps clinicians recognize how history, bias, and cultural disconnects influence clinical decisions and impact trust. She also developed a statewide training program for healthcare professionals on how to open a behavioral health agency in North Carolina, offering a step-by-step roadmap to navigate complex systems and build sustainable services.
